TERMS & CONDITIONS: WEDDING CAKES

1. Agreement: This agreement contains the entire understanding between Yummy Little Cakes and The Wedding Client.

2. Wedding cake Consultation: The parties agree to a preliminary consultation, either in person, by telephone or by e-mail before the event date in order to ascertain and confirm the design details and the prices to be charged. Initial consultation is complimentary, additional consultations carry a £25 fee.

3. Wedding Cake Quote: The Wedding Client will receive a quote for all items discussed. The quote shows all costs for the cake. Each design is individually calculated to provide the most accurate quote based on the cake content and the skilled time element involved in making each design.

4. Booking Fee: A Booking Fee of £50.00, is to be paid within 10 days of the quote being sent out and is required to secure the wedding date. The Booking Fee is applied towards the contracted wedding cake and is deducted from the final invoice.

5. Reservation: Upon receipt of the booking fee, Yummy Little Cakes will reserve the wedding date. The Booking Fee is non-refundable, but is transferable if the date has to be changed.

6. Hiring of Additional Items: If additional items are being hired from Yummy Little Cakes, such as stands,bases and separators a security deposit will be required. This is fully refundable on the safe and full return of the hired items – as per invoice.

7. Balance of Payment: The Balance is to paid 1 month prior to the wedding date. It is The Wedding Clients responsibility to provide the final payment within the agreed time. If balance is not received, the order will be cancelled without refund of any deposits paid.

8. Delivery Charges: Yummy Little Cakes can provide delivery of all ordered items. Delivery charges vary according to mileage and distance of the delivery location.

9. Set-up Time: Yummy Little Cakes require at least one hour for setting up all ordered items. This ensures that there is an appropriate amount of time to arrange the cake before guests arrive.

10. Completion Schedule: All ordered items will be delivered at the date and time agreed.

11. Method of Payment: Payment may be made by bank transfer, PayPal and all major cards (in person).

12. Cancellation: Yummy Little Cakes offers a bespoke service and is therefore limited in how many bookings are taken for any given week. If The Wedding Client cancels the order within 3 months of the wedding date it is unlikely that the cancelled space will be filled and therefore the following cancellation charges will apply. Cancellations MUST be in writing.

1 month or less – 100% of Full Cake Cost

1 month to 3 months – 50% of Full Cake Cost

3 months or more –Loss of Booking Fee

15. Limit of Liability: In the very unlikely event of severe medical, natural, or other emergencies, it may be necessary to retain an alternative Cake Designer. Yummy Little Cakes will make every effort to secure a replacement cake designer able and / or willing to provide similar products and services as chosen in this contract at the same / similar tariff. If such a situation should occur and a suitable replacement is not found, responsibility and liability is limited to the return of all payments received for the event.

16. Delivery: Although every possible care will be taken with the delivery and set up of the wedding cake, once delivered the cake becomes the responsibility of The Wedding Client. Yummy Little Cakes cannot be held responsible for any destruction of said cake or products once they are in the care of The Wedding Client/Venue. Signature for handover of responsibility will be obtained from The Wedding Client/Venue.

17. Price promise: The price quoted at the time of booking is the final cost and it will not be increased even if my cake prices change after you order has been confirmed.

18. Refunds: Refunds are given only in exceptional circumstances as deemed appropriate by Yummy Little Cakes.

19. Allergies: Yummy Little Cakes shall not be held responsible for nut allergies for The Wedding Client or their parties. Cakes can be made without any nuts BUT ALL cakes COULD contain traces of nut as nuts are used in the kitchen. It is the responsibility of The Wedding Client to inform their guests that traces of nut COULD be present in the cake. Any specific dietary requirements should be discussed at the consultation.

TERMS & CONDITIONS: WORKSHOPS

1. Agreement: This agreement contains the entire understanding between Yummy Little Cakes and Workshop Client.

2. Reservation: Full payment is required to confirm place in the workshop – no place is confirmed until full payment received.

3. Method of Payment: Payment may be made by bank transfer, PayPal or all major credit cards {payment via telephone for card payments}

4. Cancellation: Yummy Little Cakes is limited in how many bookings are taken for each workshop. If The Workshop Client cancels their place, it is unlikely the space will be filled and therefore no refund will be issued. However, YLC will try their best to transfer if the date is available.

5. Limit of Liability: In any event Yummy Little Cakes shall not be liable for death or personal injury suffered by the client or its guests arising out of the booking. This limitation of liability shall also extend to any loss or damage sustained by property or belongings of the client or for any further costs, demands or expenses incurred or suffered by the client arising out of the booking. Yummy Little Cakes will not be liable for any cancellation of or alteration to the booking. Or for any loss or damage to the client arising out of circumstances including but not limited to any act of God, natural disaster or act of terrorism. In the very unlikely event of severe medical, natural, or other emergencies, that require the party to be cancelled, responsibility and liability is limited to the return of all payments received for the party.

7. Allergies: Yummy Little Cakes shall not be held responsible for nut allergies for Workshop Client. Cakes/Food can be made without any nuts BUT ALL cakes/food COULD contain traces of nut, as nuts are used in the kitchen. Any specific dietary requirements should be noted on the booking form.

8. Image release consent: Each Workshop Client must authorise/decline the use of images on all Yummy Little Cakes media platforms.

TERMS & CONDITIONS:BAKING PARTIES

1. Agreement: This agreement contains the entire understanding between Yummy Little Cakes and Party Client.

2. Booking Fee: A Booking Fee of £50.00 is required to secure the party date. The Booking Fee is applied towards the contracted party package and is deducted from the final invoice.

3. Reservation: Upon receipt of the booking fee, Yummy Little Cakes will reserve the party date. The Booking Fee is non-refundable, but is transferable if the date has to be changed {subject to availability}

4. Balance of Payment: The Balance is to paid 2 weeks prior to the party date. It is the Party Clients responsibility to provide the final payment within the agreed time. If balance is not received, the party will be cancelled without refund of any deposits paid.

5. Method of Payment: Payment may be made by bank transfer or through PayPal (a 3.5% fee will be added to PayPal payments)

6. Cancellation: Yummy Little Cakes is limited in how many bookings are taken for any given week. If The Party Client cancels the party within 1 months of the party date it is unlikely that the cancelled space will be filled and therefore the following cancellation charges will apply. Cancellations MUST be in writing.

2 weeks or less – 100% of full party cost

2 weeks -1 month – 50% of full party cost

1 month or more – booking deposit

7. Limit of Liability: In any event Yummy Little Cakes shall not be liable for death or personal injury suffered by the client or its guests arising out of the booking. This limitation of liability shall also extend to any loss or damage sustained by property or belongings of the client or any of the client’s guests or for any further costs, demands or expenses incurred or suffered by the client arising out of the booking. Yummy Little Cakes will not be liable for any cancellation of or alteration to the booking. Or for any loss or damage to the client arising out of circumstances including but not limited to any act of God, natural disaster or act of terrorism. In the very unlikely event of severe medical, natural, or other emergencies, that require the party to be cancelled, responsibility and liability is limited to the return of all payments received for the party.

10. Parental responsibility: Yummy Little Cakes will make every effort to ensure safety of party guests, however the nominated adult must ultimately accept responsibility for the welfare and behaviour of all children in the party.

11. Image release consent: A parent/carer of each party guest must authorise/decline the use of images on all Yummy Little Cakes media platforms. No identity will be given to the guests.
